Ryan Allday

Hello and thank you for your interest in Fly Boarding and our company!
We are so excited to bring this new and adventurous sport to Hampton Roads. I am dedicated to providing you with a safe and memorable experience that you will carry throughout you life. I believe life is all about the experiences and memories you create and less about the possessions you accumulate. With that being said, I’ll give you a bit of history on myself so you feel confident you’re in good hands. I grew up on the Gulf Coast so I have always been in and around water. From kneeboarding in our lake behind a 4wheeler to building my own skim boards, water has always been a big part of my life. I spent the first 11 years of my young adulthood in the military.

I started out as a Search and Rescue Swimmer at my first command. From there my next tour was as an Ordnance Clearance Diver. To finish up my military career, I transferred to a training command where I instructed and delivered many high risk training courses to the military one of which included water survival. After the Military I moved to Canada for a year to attend Adventure Guide Training at Thompson Rivers University. It was in Canada where I became a Whitewater Raft Guide, Sea Kayak Guide and many other outdoor adventure guide courses. Upon returning to the United States I teamed up with Chris to bring you the wildest experience of your life with Fly Boarding!

Dustin Harley

Hi, my name is Dustin Harley.

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI and moved to San Antonio, TX when I was 10 while my mom was an officer in the Army. I was first introduced to lifting weights by my father who had his own gym upstairs in a spare bedroom we had while I …was growing up. I was always an active kid, always on the go. I was highly involved in sports growing up as well. I loved playing baseball and football throughout middle school and high school. Throughout the years I have always been big into lifting weights and staying healthy. I became really focused on my nutrition and future fitness goals right after I joined the Navy in November of 2006. While I was stationed overseas in Yokosuka, Japan I set and conquered a huge goal of mine. That goal was to train for and finish a full 26.2 mile marathon. On Feb. 28th 2010 after non stop rain and cold of downtown Tokyo I crossed the finish line at 3 hrs. and 43 minutes. Swimming in the mornings, running during my lunch hour and lifting weights in the evenings all helped me reach that goal. It was such an amazing experience.

Joey Comeau

Throughout my high school years I participated in track and field, kickboxing and self defense. During my senior year I became an emergency medical technician and upon graduation I got a job working for an ambulance company.
